Downbelow’s summer of Camps!

Downbelow’s summer of Camps International went ‘without a hitch’ for the entire summer school holidays of the visiting young adventurers’ from the UK!

Safety of the groups are our highest priority, particularly when they experience scuba diving

This 2015, saw more than 300 students from various schools around the UK visiting our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre in Kota Kinabalu’s Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park! Of course, the +300 participants were split into groups over the 10-week period, and each group camped at our paradise Gaya Island beach house between 3-4 nights (depending on the size of the group).
Safety of the groups are our highest priority, particularly when they experience scuba diving on our PADI Discover Scuba Diving program and PADI Open Water Diver course, so at all times they are under the care and supervision of our resident and full time island staff team of experienced PADI Instructors!
