Expedition Borneo’s adrenalin high on Padas River!

Expedition Borneo’s adrenalin high on Padas River was experienced by our last Danish adventure group for this year!

Padas River is at a grade III-IV, which requires advanced skills for maneuvering…it’s a world of difference from cruising along the Kinabatangan River to relaxingly spot wildlife!

Great timing for white water rafting the wild rapids of Beaufort’s Padas River is during the monsoon/typhoon season, or during the random tropical rainstorms that can just happen! This is because the temperamental weather churns up the river, making the current even faster! On the International Scale of River Difficulty, Padas River is at a grade III-IV, which requires advanced skills for maneuvering. As part of the groups’ 1-month Sabah adventure travel, it’s a world of difference from cruising along the Kinabatangan River to relaxingly spot wildlife!
