Mud volcano treatment at Survivor Island!

Experience the unique mud volcano treatment on our Sabah Travel Centre’s Pulau Tiga Island Day Trip, Survivor Island!

the mud volcano area, which is a dormant volcano still bubbling mud, and believed to possess therapeutic healing qualities

Six miles offshore from Sabah is where Pulau Tiga is located, and our clients may either travel from Kuala Penyu or from around Kota Kinabalu. If choosing to depart from Kuala Penyu, travelling via road transfer to Kuala Penyu will offer lovely views of the Sabah countryside before their speedboat ride from the jetty to Pulau Tiga.

When arriving at Pulau Tiga, the serene peace is wonderful, and it’s so blissful to get away from the buzzing streets of Kota Kinabalu just for the day to recharge.
Being in such a natural environment will do wonders for travellers, who need to unwind even from their over-excitement, and there are plenty of relaxing attractions at Survivor Island! One of those attractions is the mud volcano area, which is a dormant volcano still bubbling mud, and believed to possess therapeutic healing qualities. But if there’s no effect on sore muscles, from jungle trekking/mountain climbing Salt Trails as part of our Expedition Borneo program, the mud is reported to definitely soften skin considerably – it’s an outdoor spa experience at least!
