Ex-Sandakan The proboscis monkey is one of the strangest-looking primates in Borneo, and is world renowned for its physical appearance – particularly their large nose and stomach.

Located in a mangrove swamp nearby a river, Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary offers visitors a chance to witness the conservation work towards the old-world primates’ protection and species preservation. Feeding times are fascinating, to watch the dynamics between family members of the proboscis monkeys – usually wonderfully entertaining! This 3D/2N trip incorporates overnight stays at Turtle Island & Sepilok Jungle Resort for a truly conservation orientated experience of Borneo wildlife.
